Big Read : Working in conjunction with WUMB, the campus radio station, the Trotter is organizing outreach to local schools and prisons as well as doing cultural programming.  The Big Read, which began in February 2009 and will last through May 2009, is funded by a NEA grant. Change and Transition: Under a Creative Economies Grant, the Trotter, in cooperation with the Color of Film Collaborative, is presenting a staged reading series on the theme of Change and Transition.  The last dramatic reading in the series will take place on Feb. 26 in the Harbor Art Gallery, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Mercy Panel: In collaboration with the Provost's Office and the Office of Human Resources, the Trotter is co-sponsoring a faculty/student panel to discuss the significance of Toni Morrison's novel, A Mercy, which probes the origins of American slavery.   Feb. 25, Campus Center, Ballrooms A&B, 2 p.m.-4 p.m.
